Texas Bound!!!

             I am so excited because I am leaving for San Antonio, Texas tomorrow! I am also going for a very special reason! I am part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod(LCMS) and every 3 years they have a HUGE National Youth Gathering! I went to the last one and it truly had such a big impact on me and led to so many great things!

               This is one is going to be so different but for the better because I have a lot more reasons to be excited for it and I will get to see a lot of people I rarely ever get to see! I have much more responsibilities at this gathering and I have more much more confidence than I did 3 years ago and will likely make tons of knew friends! There is going to be over 25,000 people at NYG! Crazy crazy crazy!!! I am in the middle of packing and trying to get ready for it! In 24 hours I will be on my way to good ole Texas!!! When I get back I will be sure to blog about the whole thing!

 My excited face!!!!!

So here I am writing my first post on my personal blog. Lately I have been really enjoying reading and looking at personal blogs that capture different lifestyles, places, and experiences. I recently have been loving the Traveling Triplets blog! I love how you can "explore the world" just by going on to the internet! It truly has inspired me so much and has had a big influence on what I am passionate about! I have been on this social media train for quite a while now and have TONS of tumblrs, beauty and photo blogs, a pinterest, and also a YouTube but I didn't have anything I could solely base for recording my life, new adventures, and thoughts and so here brings my blog, Girl In a Small Town. I am from and live in a small town outside the suburbs of St. Louis, MO. I love it here and the people I have grown to know here and that I can call my true family. But I know that I don't want to stay here much longer for I want to start my own life somewhere new. I am about to start my senior year in high school and can't wait for the new adventures ahead of me! I am looking forward towards college and the new memories I will make! Now to learn a bit about me here are some things that I think are important! I love Jesus. I am Lutheran. I love music and lots of different kinds! I can somewhat play guitar and sing (I am hopefully getting better). I love photography and videography. I love fashion and beauty! I can be very loud and hyper but also behaved when I need to be. I like it when people like me and I try to be the nicest and humble person I can be (doesn't mean I am perfect, I can still be a poop head.). I like creating things that are beautiful and something I can be proud of. I love healthy food and fitness and helping other people love it too. I have a Pinterest addiction. I can spend hours on Tumblr just looking at pictures (see here and here). I have very long, dark brown (almost black)  hair that I will never cut short, EVER. I am barely 5 feet tall and probably won't get any taller and I am ok with that. I love life and try to have a positive attitude everyday! I also love talking (people who know me, know this is true). That's about the basics! My goal for this blog is to record my thoughts and feelings, my day to day adventures, big life moments, along with lots of pictures(and maybe some videos), and maybe give someone a bit of joy when they see a small glimpse into my life like when it brings me happiness seeing a small part of someone elses life and adventures. :)
